München, Germany — Bayern Munich delivered a spectacular comeback performance, overcoming an early two-goal deficit to defeat SC Freiburg 6-2 at the Allianz Arena on Saturday. The match showcased the resilience and attacking firepower of the Bavarian giants, with Michael Olise emerging as the undisputed star with two goals and three assists in a masterful display.

The visitors stunned the home crowd early, capitalizing on set-piece opportunities. Yuito Suzuki opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a right-footed shot from the center of the box following a corner. Just five minutes later, Freiburg doubled their advantage when Johan Manzambi powered home a header from very close range, connecting with Niklas Beste's cross from another corner kick.

Bayern's response began in the 22nd minute when Lennart Karl reduced the deficit with a right-footed finish from the center of the box, benefiting from Michael Olise's assist following a fast break. The hosts continued to push forward and were rewarded in the second minute of first-half stoppage time when Olise scored his first of the match, firing a left-footed shot from the center of the box to the bottom right corner after being set up by Karl.

The second half belonged entirely to Bayern Munich. Dayot Upamecano completed the comeback in the 55th minute with a right-footed shot from very close range, connecting with Olise's cross following a corner. Five minutes later, Harry Kane extended the lead with a left-footed finish from the center of the box, assisted by Aleksandar Pavlovic, who had earlier received a yellow card in the 40th minute.

Bayern's dominance continued as substitute Nicolas Jackson, who replaced the injured Lennart Karl in the 71st minute, added a fifth goal in the 78th minute with a right-footed shot from the center of the box to the bottom right corner after another assist from the brilliant Olise. The Frenchman capped off his remarkable performance in the 84th minute, scoring his second goal with a left-footed shot from outside the box to the bottom left corner, assisted by Hiroki Ito.

The emphatic victory showcased Bayern's attacking depth and resilience, turning what could have been a disappointing home defeat into a statement win. For Freiburg, their early promise faded as Bayern's quality ultimately proved too much to handle. The result strengthens Bayern's position near the top of the Bundesliga table as they continue their impressive form at the Allianz Arena.
